2. In class maintenance of vertical milling machines

(1) Observe the sensitivity, reliability, temperature rise, sound, and vibration of motors and electrical appliances.

(2) Check the sensitivity and reliability of electrical safety devices.

(3) Observe the temperature rise, sound direction, and vibration of each transmission component.

(4) Always check the working condition of the plunger oil pump in the bed and lifting platform. When the machine tool is running and there is no oil flowing out of the indicator, it should be repaired in a timely manner.

(5) The axial clearance and transmission clearance of the worktable's longitudinal screw were found, and adjustments should be made according to the instructions.

(6) Adjustment of spindle bearings.

(7) Adjustment of the clutch for rapid movement of the workbench.

(8) Adjustment of the tightness of the transmission belt.

3. Maintenance of vertical milling machine after shift

After work, it is necessary to inspect and clean the equipment, perform daily maintenance work, place all operating handles (switches) in neutral (zero position), and turn on the power switch to achieve neatness, cleanliness, lubrication, and safety.
